| Brigham Industries participated in a
MRC/Emergency Management Functional
Exercise at UMass Amherst at the Mullins
Center. Participants included student
volunteers and members of the Western
Region Task Force, the Amherst Fire
Department, the UMass Environmental
Health and Safety Dept. and the MA
State Dept. of Public Health. Brigham
supplied the decon kits used in the

In September Stan Tarnowski, director of municipal sales for Hazard Control/F-500 and backed by 30 years of fire service experience, conducted a 3 hour class and live burn to demonstrate the many uses of F-500 Fire Suppression agent. The demonstration consisted of a car fire, tire fire, Class A structure fire, the encapsulation of a traditional fuel spill as well an E-85 spill. Many departments from Districts 7 & 8 from central MA were able to attend the demonstration hosted by Rutland Fire Department.

The fabric is not just a hydro-wicking material; it is knitted in a pattern that allows for breathability. With standard hydro-wicking fabric you will be dry, but it does little to allow any ventilation which can be a contributor to reducing heat stress and increasing worker satisfaction and productivity.
A UPF rating of 30. The ultraviolet protection factor is the level of protection the garment provides from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet radiation. A UPF between 25 and 39 provides "very good UV protection."
The trim runs top to bottom and fully around the chest, to provide the most reflective surface of any t-shirt on the market.
